What is an Occupational Therapist?
A professional with a master’s degree in Occupational Therapy trained in identifying and addressing issues that interfere with a client’s ability to perform activities that are important to his or her day-to-day life.
1to1 Autism Therapy’s Occupational Therapists are trained to complete both standardized and informal assessments in a variety of areas, including handwriting and fine motor issues, gross motor issues (balance and coordination), visual perceptual issues, visual motor integration, sensory processing, self-regulation and feeding issues. Occupational Therapists are also trained to develop and deliver evidence-based intervention plans through direct intervention and consultation with family members, professionals and teachers.
How much does Occupational Therapy Cost?
Occupational Therapy may be covered under your extended health insurance benefits, alternatively you may access therapy through the Ontario Autism Program. All of 1to1 Autism Therapy’s Occupational Therapists are qualified and licensed.
Applied Behaviour Analysis
